J. Henry Burnett

  • The B-52 Band & the Fabulous Skylarks [Uni, 1972] C+

Consumer Guide Reviews:

The B-52 Band & the Fabulous Skylarks [Uni, 1972]
Burnett is like the Band without self-consciousness--his vocal anguish is really moral, with a sense of history. When he opens with "We Have All Got a Past" he's only trying to talk someone into bed, but boy, does that title resonate. Now he should tell the B-52 Band to play less and think more and the Fabulous Skylarks to fly away. C+
