Ton-Ton Macoute! [Atco, 1970]
The former Pinetopper got upstaged by stablemate Otis Redding at his big recording opportunity many years ago, so now, in the spirit of fair's fair, the Allman Brothers Band (sans Gregg) give him another chance by backing him with some rock and roll (not "Rock"). They sound great, too. Only problem is, Jenkins got upstaged for a reason--he doesn't have much of a voice. B-
